differ in FR fans?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Fan motors differ primarily in their design and the speed control functions available.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Standard_AC_motors\"><\/span>Standard AC motors<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reventongroup.eu\/wentylatory-osiowe-wyciagowe-w-kwadratowej-ramie\/\">Standard AC induction motors<\/a> are widely used in the HVAC sector, where consistent airflow is important. The first concerns the same output at higher resistance values given in [Pa], and the second concerns the same output at lower resistance values given in [Pa].<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>A) For the highest shared airflow output of 3,000 [m\u00b3\/h] and assuming a resistance of 150 [Pa].<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>EC MOTOR: power consumption -&gt; 423 [W] -&gt; At 10 V signal <br\/>AC MOTOR: power consumption -&gt; 495 [W] -&gt; At HIGH speed<\/p>\n\n<p>Assuming the fans operate for 4 hours per day and the energy cost is 1.1 PLN per kWh.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><\/td><td>EC motor<\/td><td>AC motor<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Purchase cost<\/td><td>\u2014<\/td><td>\u2014<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Annual consumption<\/td><td>618 [kWh]<\/td><td>723 [kWh]<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Annual energy cost<\/td><td>680 [PLN]<\/td><td>795 [PLN]<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<p>For the above parameters, the cost difference shows that the EC motor consumed approximately <strong>15% less energy<\/strong> over the course of a year.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>B) For the lowest shared airflow output of 4,000 [m\u00b3\/h] and assuming a resistance of 15 [Pa]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>EC MOTOR: power consumption -&gt; 118 [W] -&gt; At 6 V signal<br\/>AC MOTOR: power consumption -&gt; 286 [W] -&gt; At LOW speed<\/p>\n\n<p>Assuming the fans operate for 4 hours per day and the energy cost is 1.1 PLN per kWh.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><\/td><td>EC motor<\/td><td>AC motor<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Purchase cost<\/td><td>\u2014<\/td><td>\u2014<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Annual consumption<\/td><td>172.3 [kWh]<\/td><td>418 [kWh]<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Annual energy cost<\/td><td>190 [PLN]<\/td><td>460 [PLN]<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<p>For the above parameters, the cost difference shows that the EC motor consumed approximately <strong>59% less energy<\/strong> over the course of a year.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Summary\"><\/span>Summary<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>The above results demonstrate that EC motors, with appropriate speed optimisation, can reduce annual energy consumption, which is significant when multiple units operate simultaneously. This result may vary at different air resistance values.
