KHC Automation Kit

The KHC automation kit is a basic control set dedicated to mixing chambers. It ensures precise and safe operation of a heating and ventilation system consisting of an MC mixing chamber, an HC unit heater and, optionally, a STORM roof fan. The set includes a mixing chamber controller, a damper actuator with return spring, a capillary thermostat and a set of temperature sensors.

About the product

The KHC automation kit combines in a single package all the components needed for automatic control of the mixing chamber. Its purpose is precise regulation of the heating and ventilation system and protection of the installation against freezing.

The central element of the kit is the mixing chamber controller, which manages the operation of the entire system — the MC series mixing chamber, HC series unit heater and optionally a STORM series roof fan. The controller makes decisions based on data from a set of four temperature sensors, mounted after the unit heater, on the return, inside the room and outdoors.

The physical regulation of the air mixing ratio is handled by the 0–10 V damper actuator with spring return, which automatically adjusts the mixing chamber dampers to current needs. System safety is ensured by a capillary thermostat — the anti-freeze protection element that monitors the air temperature after the unit heater and signals a drop below the set value.

Temperature sensor set
