The HC-3S LPHW unit heater is designed for industrial and commercial facilities such as production halls, warehouses, workshops, retail spaces and garages. The unit requires connection to a water system with a heating medium, which transfers heat through the heat exchanger into the room. It can also be supplied with cold water to circulate cool air in the facility. The unit is fully compatible with heat pumps, ensuring efficient heating and cooling.
About the product
HC-3S is an LPHW unit heater designed for heating and cooling industrial and commercial facilities — production halls, warehouses, workshops, retail spaces and garages. It requires connection to a water installation with a heating medium, but it can also be supplied with cold water to circulate cool air, making it fully compatible with heat pumps in both operating modes.
The copper-aluminium heat exchanger, available in 1-, 2- or 3-row versions, ensures efficient heat transfer and can operate with a medium temperature of up to 120°C. A heating capacity range from 1,5 to 92,7 kW and an airflow from 850 to 5000 m³/h allow the unit to be matched to facilities of different volumes.
The expanded polypropylene (EPP) housing is lightweight, resistant to mechanical damage and provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, which simplifies installation and guarantees durability. A 3-stage AC induction motor with an IP54 rating (optionally an energy-efficient EC motor with smooth 0–100% speed control) and adjustable ABS air louvres allow the unit’s operation and airflow direction to be precisely matched to the facility’s needs.

Compatible with heat pumps
LPHW unit heaters can be matched to installations with heat pumps and other low-temperature heat sources. The final output depends on the water parameters, room temperature and required airflow, which is why individual technical selection is recommended for such installations.
Lightweight and durable EPP housing
The expanded polypropylene (EPP) housing is lightweight, resistant to moisture andnd corrosion, and at the same time effectively dampens vibration and fan noise. This material, used in the automotive and aerospace industries, also performs well in the demanding conditions of production halls and warehouses.
Copper-aluminium heat exchanger
The copper-aluminium heat exchanger provides high heat transfer efficiency in a compact form. Available in 1, 2 or 3-row versions — selecting the right configuration allows the heating capacity to be matched to the requirements of a specific facility.
Cooling mode and water vapour condensation
In cooling mode (chilled water supply), water vapour condenses on the heat exchanger surface — the HC drip tray must be used. The dedicated accessory is available separately, and the full installation should include condensate drainage in accordance with the product manual.

Yes, the HC-3S unit heater can work with a heat pump. However, heating capacity depends on the supply water temperature from the heat pump. At lower water temperatures (e.g. 45/35°C), output will be lower than at standard parameters (80/60°C). We recommend individual technical selection for such installations.
The HC-3S unit heater can operate at various water temperatures. Catalogue power parameters are given for 80/60°C. At lower temperatures, heating capacity decreases. In cooling mode (chilled water), a drip tray must be used for condensate drainage.
The dedicated controller for the HC-3S 230 V unit heater is the HC3S controller with thermostat. It enables 3-stage control and automatic temperature maintenance. For more advanced installations, the HMI CURTAIN BMS controller is available for building automation integration.
Yes. The HC-3S unit heater can be installed both horizontally (ceiling-mounted) and vertically (wall-mounted). Various airflow configurations are available: downward, angled or horizontal. For wall mounting, the dedicated HC rotating bracket is used, enabling horizontal rotation of the unit.
The HC-3S unit heater carries a 24-month manufacturer's warranty. The conditions for maintaining the warranty are correct installation in accordance with the user manual and use of the unit for its intended purpose.
