Gravity shutter

The gravity shutter is designed for the end of ventilation ducts, in particular those that discharge air from the building to the outside. It is designed for wall/façade mounting. Forced airflow in the duct (e.g. generated by a fan) lifts the gravity shutter blades, allowing the exhaust air to be discharged. When there is no such airflow, the shutter's design prevents air from flowing back into the building. During winter, the shutter helps reduce heat loss through an unused ventilation opening.
