Energy Recovery Unit INSPIRO BASIC
The INSPIRO BASIC energy recovery unit with an enthalpy heat exchanger is a simplified, cost-optimised ventilation unit that enables energy recovery — both heat and humidity. It is intended for indoor use in residential buildings, halls, warehouses, service rooms or workshops. The units can be equipped with a cellulose or polyethylene heat exchanger.
About the product
INSPIRO BASIC is an energy recovery ventilation unit — recovering both heat and moisture — in a simplified, cost-optimized design. It is a solution for customers looking for effective recovery at an affordable price, designed for residential buildings, halls, storage facilities, commercial spaces, and workshops.
Energy recovery is ensured by a cross-flow enthalpy exchanger with a heat recovery efficiency of up to 76% and moisture recovery of up to 67%, available in a cellulose (BASIC) or polyethylene-graphene (POLY) version. Two fans with AC induction motors and a 3-speed control, along with a capacity from 200 to 1300 m³/h, allow the operation to be adjusted to the needs of the facility.
The galvanized steel housing with convenient brackets facilitates installation, and the inspection door ensures easy access to the filters and the exchanger. The unit is equipped with a manual bypass, G3 pre-filters, and a BASIC controller with a weekly operating schedule function and a filter contamination indicator. The “A” energy class allows meeting the requirements of the “Clean Air” program.

Robust construction and easy filter replacement
The housing of the INSPIRO BASIC energy recovery ventilator is made of galvanized steel. It features convenient brackets enabling easy installation of the unit, and the plastic spigots have diameters adapted to the most popular sizes of ventilation ducts. The housing includes an inspection door allowing hassle-free access to the filters and the exchanger.
POLY exchanger — polyethylene with a graphene layer
The INSPIRO BASIC POLY cross-flow exchanger is made of a special polyethylene material with a graphene layer. The exchanger offers a longer lifespan and can be cleaned using water and a pH-neutral detergent.
The POLY and BASIC exchangers have the same capacity.
Intelligent control of the energy recovery ventilator
The units feature 3-speed AC fans and are controlled by the BASIC panel. Additionally, it is possible to set a weekly operating schedule for the energy recovery ventilator and configure the air supply function in bypass mode (bypassing the exchanger). After operating for a total of more than 1000 hours, an alarm appears on the panel reminding of the need to clean the G3 filter.
Filter set for the INSPIRO BASIC energy recovery ventilator
Ensure the effective and hygienic operation of your energy recovery ventilator with the right filters. We offer dedicated G3 pre-filters for every model of the INSPIRO BASIC energy recovery ventilator.
As standard, the G3 pre-filter offers an ISO coarse ≥50% protection level, sufficient for most spaces.
Duct heater
To ensure the highest capacity of the energy recovery ventilator, it is recommended to use an additional pre-heater with control. This is crucial when temperatures drop below -9°C to avoid freezing of the exchanger — especially during winter periods.
The pre-heater warms the air entering the unit, increasing recovery efficiency and reducing the risk of damage to the exchanger.
