POLISH PRODUCT LPHW unit heater FARMER OpenAir
The FARMER OpenAir unit heater was created to operate in demanding industrial conditions, such as high humidity, the presence of acidic vapours, ammonia or dust. The unit performs excellently in agricultural facilities — cowsheds, pig houses, stables or greenhouses. It operates based on a heating medium, and can optionally also be supplied with cold water to cool the air. Thanks to its IP66 protection class, it is resistant to dust and moisture.
About the product
FARMER OpenAir is an LPHW unit heater with the highest IP66 protection class, created to operate in the most demanding agricultural environments — cowsheds, pig houses, stables and greenhouses — where there is high humidity, acidic vapours, ammonia and dust. It operates based on a heating medium, and can optionally be supplied with cold water to cool the air.
The AC induction motor with an IP66 rating and sealed construction provide full protection against dust and high-pressure water jets. The copper-aluminium heat exchanger is protected with a GOLD epoxy coating, resistant to acidic vapours, moisture and aggressive substances. Heating capacity reaches 83,9 kW, cooling capacity up to 22,7 kW, and airflow ranges from 4500 to 5100 m³/h.
The housing, made of gelcoat-coated laminate panels and reinforced with an internal aluminium frame, provides high mechanical stability, while the frame’s easy-opening design simplifies periodic cleaning. The 360° powder-coated galvanised steel diffuser — in a standard or horizontal version — ensures even air distribution throughout the room.

Yes. It's enough for the heat exchanger to be supplied with chilled water. Cooling efficiency depends on the supply water temperature and the inlet air temperature. Due to the possibility of condensate forming, a drip tray must be used. Operation of the unit in cooling mode is only possible with wall mounting of the unit heater — with ceiling mounting, the condensate would not be caught by the tray.
Yes, it can. Depending on requirements, a confusor (to increase jet reach) or a 360° diffuser (to shorten the jet, but achieve better mixing with the surrounding air) can additionally be fitted to the outlet.
Yes, our unit heaters are compatible with heat pumps.
No. Unit heaters can be supplied with water or a glycol solution at the appropriate pressure. Water pressure that is too low may negatively affect the heating capacity of the unit heaters.
Check the connection to the electrical installation and make sure the unit heater is connected to the mains in accordance with the wiring diagrams provided.
