STORM EC
The STORM EC roof fan effectively removes exhaust air from industrial buildings, warehouses, public utility facilities and food trucks. The housing components are made of galvanized, powder-coated steel. The energy-saving EC motor provides smooth speed control and lower energy consumption, while the largest models deliver very high airflow.
About the product
STORM EC is a proven roof exhaust fan driven by an energy-efficient EC motor. Available in five models, it is suitable for medium to large industrial facilities, warehouses, commercial buildings and food trucks.
Airflow from 880 to 13,800 m³/h can handle even very large spaces. The EC motor provides smooth speed control and lower energy consumption, resulting in a real reduction in operating costs.
The powder-coated steel housing, together with the galvanised steel base and guard, provide excellent weather resistance. The backward-curved centrifugal impeller increases efficiency, while the enclosed design prevents access to the impeller by people, animals and debris.
Key features
- Airflow ranging from 880 m³/h to 13,800 m³/h
- Motor power ranging from 70 W to 3,000 W
- Energy-efficient EC motor with IP54 rating
- Noise level from 52 dB to 85 dB
- Smooth speed control (0–10 V potentiometer or HMI EC BMS controller)
- Power supply 230 V or 400 V (depending on model)
Why choose the STORM EC
roof fan?
Robust roof fan construction — The powder-coated steel housing, along with the galvanised steel base and guard, protect the fan in harsh outdoor conditions. The backward-curved centrifugal impeller increases airflow efficiency, and the enclosed design prevents direct access to the impeller by people, animals or debris.
Energy efficiency and high performance — The EC motor consumes significantly less energy than a conventional AC drive, reducing operating costs. The top models achieve an airflow of up to 13,800 m³/h, making the STORM EC suitable for medium and large spaces.
Installation suited to various roof types — The fan can be installed on flat and pitched roofs on a dedicated roof base and integrated with various ventilation systems. The housing design supports efficient airflow, minimising energy losses. Weather-resistant, it is designed for outdoor use in variable conditions.
Control options — EC models allow smooth speed control via a 0–10 V potentiometer or HMI EC BMS controller. This allows the fan to operate at exactly the airflow required by the facility, further reducing energy consumption.
