Energy Recovery Unit VERTIC
The VERTIC energy recovery unit is a vertical ventilation unit providing mechanical ventilation with heat recovery or with heat and humidity recovery, depending on the exchanger used. It is designed for indoor installation in residential buildings, halls, warehouses, service rooms and other facilities. It is especially suitable where floor, wall or compact installation is required, for example above a washing machine or in a cabinet under the stairs. The unit can be equipped with a polystyrene counterflow exchanger or a polyethylene-graphene enthalpy exchanger.
About the product
VERTIC is a vertical energy recovery ventilation unit — recovering heat, or heat and moisture, depending on the exchanger used — designed for places where standard ceiling installation is not possible. The vertical construction allows the unit to be mounted on the floor, wall, above a washing machine, or in a cabinet under the stairs, making it an ideal solution for residential buildings and spaces with limited room.
Energy recovery is ensured by a counter-flow exchanger with a heat recovery efficiency of up to 90% and moisture recovery of up to 78%, available in a polystyrene version (heat recovery) or a polyethylene-graphene ENTHALPY version (heat and moisture recovery). Two energy-saving EC fans with 5-speed control and a capacity from 80 to 500 m³/h ensure quiet and efficient operation.
The powder-coated steel housing ensures durability, and access to the filters and the exchanger is obtained simply by removing the cover itself. The unit is equipped with an automatic bypass, two built-in control panels, three G4 filters, and a humidity sensor — optionally also a CO₂ sensor, an intelligent control panel, and an F7 filter. The “A” energy class allows meeting the requirements of the “Clean Air” program.

Why choose the VERTIC energy recovery ventilator?
ENTHALPY exchanger — energy recovery ventilation with moisture recovery
The enthalpy exchanger for the VERTIC energy recovery ventilator is made of a special polyethylene material with a graphene layer. Thanks to it, the energy recovery ventilator additionally recovers moisture, increasing room comfort.
Both exchangers for the vertical ventilation unit have the same capacity and lifespan, and can be cleaned using water and a pH-neutral detergent.
Intelligent unit operation
The energy recovery ventilator features energy-saving EC fans with a wide range of operation control (4 programmable speeds + 5th BOOST speed). It has 2 built-in control panels — the first on the front of the unit offering quick access, and the second inside the energy recovery ventilator enabling the configuration of fan speeds.
Control the unit from anywhere in the world
The energy recovery ventilators can be equipped with a Wi-Fi module* enabling control via a smartphone. Simply pair the energy recovery ventilator with the dedicated Smart Life app to gain access to the control of all functions: fan speeds, indoor air temperature, and also — if appropriate sensors have been connected — CO₂ and humidity data.

Defrosting mode or electric duct heater?
The vertical energy recovery ventilator features a defrosting mode which activates when the outdoor air temperature drops below -5°C. However, to ensure the highest capacity of the unit, it is recommended to use a duct pre-heater — especially when temperatures drop below -9°C to avoid freezing of the exchanger.
The electric circular duct heater warms the air entering the unit, increasing recovery efficiency and reducing the risk of damage to the exchanger.
Filter set for the VERTIC energy recovery ventilator
Ensure the effective and hygienic operation of your energy recovery ventilator with properly selected filters. We offer a ready-made set of 3 G4 pre-filters for every VERTIC energy recovery ventilator. Their size varies depending on the application: for the bypass, supply air, or extract air. Optionally, an F7 supply air filter is also available for more demanding spaces.
G4 filters offer an ISO coarse ≥60% protection level. The F7 filter with an ISO ePM1 ≥50% level is for more demanding spaces.
