HC-3S 230 V is the most universal model in the HC series. Designed for industrial and commercial facilities — production halls, warehouses, workshops, commercial spaces, and garages.

It requires connection to a water system with a heating medium. It can also be supplied with cold water (chilled water) for air circulation and cooling in the facility. Fully compatible with heat pumps — both in heating and cooling modes.

The 3-speed fan control allows precise adjustment of the air flow to the needs of the facility and operating conditions. For projects requiring the highest energy efficiency, a version with an EC motor (stepless 0–100% control) is available.

Lightweight and durable EPP housing

The HC-3S LPHW unit heater features a housing made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), a lightweight material resistant to mechanical damage that provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. This housing guarantees durability in demanding industrial environments and facilitates installation due to its low weight.

Copper and aluminum heat exchanger

The HC-3S series utilizes a copper and aluminum heat exchanger, ensuring efficient heat transfer in both heating and cooling modes. Depending on the model, versions with a 1, 2, or 3-row heat exchanger are available. The unit can operate with a heating medium temperature of up to 120°C.

Cooling mode and water vapor condensation

During operation in cooling mode, water vapor condensation may occur on the surface of the unit. For effective condensate drainage, it is recommended to use a dedicated drain pan.

The pan is compatible with wall mounting and should be connected to the sewage system for safe removal of the collected water.

3-speed AC induction motor

HC-3S LPHW unit heaters are equipped with an AC induction motor with 3-speed control and an IP54 protection rating.

For projects requiring higher energy efficiency, a version with an EC motor is available, offering stepless speed control in the 0–100% range and reduced energy consumption.

Adjustable louvers for precise air flow direction control

Every HC-3S LPHW unit heater is equipped with manually adjustable ABS louvers, enabling precise setting of the air flow direction. Depending on the requirements, it is possible to use a 360° diffuser or a confuser for even air distribution.

Quiet and compact HC15-3S heater

The HC15-3S is a quiet and compact unit, perfect for smaller spaces. The heater features an EPP housing, making it lightweight and easy to install. It ensures reliable operation and low energy consumption.

Dedicated HC rotating mounting bracket

The HC rotating bracket is a practical mounting element dedicated to the HC series LPHW unit heaters.

It enables easy horizontal rotation of the unit, allowing precise adjustment of the air flow direction to the current needs of users and the layout of the room.

The bracket also facilitates installation and servicing of the heater.

Models and parameters

The HC-3S series includes 8 models from the compact HC15-3S to the high-performance HC80-3S. Output values are specified for the 3rd fan speed at standard water parameters of 80/60°C and an inlet air temperature of 0°C.

FAQ

This value depends on the operating time and the power of the electric motor used in the heater. For example, a water heater with a 200 W motor will consume approximately 0.2 kWh of electricity per hour of operation. On an annual basis, thanks to advanced EC motor technology, consumption can be lower when the unit is not running at full speed.

Yes. Almost all of our series of LPHW unit heaters (HC and FARMER) are adapted for operation with chilled water. However, keep in mind that moisture condensation occurs on the heat exchanger during cooling mode. Therefore, for proper operation, we mandatorily recommend equipping the unit with a dedicated drain pan connected to the sewage system, regardless of the room type.

An EC motor should be considered when operating costs (ROI) are a priority. It offers stepless performance control and consumes significantly less energy at lower speeds than an AC motor. We recommend it for modern projects that prioritize the highest energy efficiency class in water heaters.

Expanded polypropylene (EPP) is a lightweight material that is resistant to deformation and effectively damps vibrations, which facilitates installation and reduces operational noise. Steel housing (S series) is a heavier, traditional solution chosen by customers accustomed to classic design and the strict standards of heavy industry.

For full flexibility, we recommend the rotary bracket. It allows for horizontal rotation of the unit, which facilitates precise directing of the airflow exactly where it is needed, and also significantly eases maintenance work. It is also worth considering hangers with shock absorbers, connection hoses, and automation components (e.g., three-way valves to increase the response speed of the unit).

The HC series includes lightweight units in an EPP housing and is the most universal family for industrial and commercial facilities. The S series is based on a steel housing and works well where the user prefers a classic, solid construction. Additionally, air louvers in the HC series are made of ABS material, whereas in the S series, they are made of steel.

Most of our heaters (HC series and S series) are equipped with fans featuring an IP54 rating. They guarantee very good resistance to dust and moisture, which is completely sufficient for safe operation in standard production halls, workshops, and warehouses. For facilities with extreme dust levels and high sanitary requirements, we have prepared fans with an increased IP66 tightness class (available in models from the FARMER series). This class ensures complete protection against dust ingress and resistance to strong water jets, allowing, for example, safe cleaning of the unit under pressure. Water heaters can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted, saving space. For proper mounting and the appropriate wiring diagram for the controller, we recommend using the manual found in the technical documentation.
