The heat exchanger in the S-3S heater is made of copper and aluminum. The device allows for efficient heating of commercial and production facilities, characterized by a wide operating range in ambient temperatures from -30°C to +60°C and support for heating media up to 120°C. Steel air louvers maintain their shape and allow for precise direction of the heat stream.
Various mounting options
The steel S-3S heater can be installed depending on the room layout. The device allows for both wall and ceiling mounting. By using a dedicated S-series swivel console, the user has the ability to freely rotate the device horizontally to precisely direct heat into desired zones. The S-3S series can be additionally equipped with dedicated control accessories: two-way and three-way valves with actuators, relay modules, and MS service switches.

The S-3S is a good choice when an industrial steel appearance is more important to you. If you care about lower weight, the HC series in an EPP casing will be more suitable.
Yes. The design of the unit and dedicated mounting brackets or a rotary bracket allow for installation both vertically (on walls and pillars) and horizontally (ceiling suspension). You must ensure that the supporting structure of the facility can bear the weight of the steel-cased unit filled with water.
For optimal control of the heating medium supply, we recommend valves with an actuator. Depending on the specifics of the hydraulic system, accessories with a two-way valve (cutting off the flow) or a three-way valve (controlling the flow without stopping water circulation) are available. Our technical department will assist in selecting the appropriate fittings free of charge.
The size selection is based on three fundamental parameters: the room volume, the assumed temperature difference (between the outdoor temperature and the target indoor temperature) and the insulation level of the facility. In practice, across the large areas of production halls and warehouses, several S-3S units distributed evenly are usually applied, which ensures stable air heating and eliminates underheated zones. We recommend using our calculator and obtaining a technical consultation, which will take into account the actual conditions of the facility and ensure high efficiency of the heating system.
The number of heat exchanger rows determines how much heat the unit will transfer to the room at a given heating medium temperature. A 1-row heat exchanger has the lowest airflow resistance and is ideal where the system supplies high-parameter hot water (e.g. 80–90°C) and a moderate heating capacity is sufficient. A 2-row heat exchanger is a versatile configuration, most frequently chosen for typical industrial and warehouse facilities. A 3-row heat exchanger offers the largest heat exchange area and is recommended for large volumes or low-temperature systems, where effective heating requires maximum utilisation of energy from a heating medium at a lower temperature.
