LPHW unit heaters in an EPP casing from the HC series are devices designed for the efficient heating and cooling of industrial and commercial facilities. They are perfectly suited for the daily operation of production halls, warehouses or modern commercial spaces, guaranteeing reliable operation in diverse conditions.
Choose an LPHW unit heater variant
Three models are available within the HC series, allowing for precise technology selection to match the project requirements of the facility.
HC-3S
3-speed AC motor. The most universal model. Designed for operation in confined spaces and with heat pumps.
1.55 – 91.5 kW
850 – 5,000 m³/h
2.6 – 35.0 kW
HC-EC
Energy-saving EC motor with stepless 0–100% control. Lower operating costs, precise control, compatibility with heat pumps.
1.97 – 88.9 kW
750 – 4,800 m³/h
1.9 – 20.1 kW
HC-3P
Single-speed, three-phase AC motor. Unit designed for large-volume industrial facilities and for operation with heat pumps.
2.36 – 80.1 kW
2,500 – 4,000 m³/h
2.6 – 30.5 kW

Why choose LPHW unit heaters
in the HC series?
The units operate using water or heating medium from the central heating system
The copper-aluminium heat exchangers used ensure full compatibility with heat pumps, effectively heating the building even at lower hot water parameters
Significantly lower unit weight thanks to the EPP casing
Two functions in one — supplementary heating in winter and assisted cooling in summer (using chilled water)
High impact resistance — the resilient casing material absorbs accidental impacts during transport and installation.

Which variant to choose?
HC-3S
Standard 230 V network, simple installation, 3-speed control. The most popular.
HC-EC
Priority: low energy costs and operation with a heat pump. Stepless EC control.
HC-3P
Three-phase 400 V network, large industrial facilities, high volume.
What do you gain with the HC series LPHW unit heaters?
Resistance to damage and working conditions
The use of expanded polypropylene (EPP) in the casing ensures high durability. This material is characterized by elasticity, which means that in the event of an impact, it deforms, absorbing the force. The casing is also resistant to moisture.
Precise airflow direction settings
HC LPHW unit heaters are standardly mounted on a dedicated rotating mounting bracket and feature manually adjustable ABS plastic louvers that allow for directing the airflow stream. The units can be equipped with a 360° diffuser for even air distribution or a confuser to increase the airflow range.
Cooling support in summer
Connecting HC units to a chilled water system enables cooling the air inside the facility. To ensure this process runs correctly, a dedicated condensation drain pan must be installed. It is responsible for safely catching the condensate from the heat exchanger surface and discharging it into the sewage system (for wall-mounted installations).
FAQ
Yes, HC series unit heaters are fully compatible with modern heat pumps. Their efficient copper-aluminum heat exchangers ensure effective energy transfer to the room, even at lower heating medium parameters.
Yes, provided the heat exchanger is supplied with chilled water. Cooling efficiency depends on the supply water temperature and the inlet air temperature. Due to the risk of condensate formation, a drip tray must be used. Please note that the cooling function is only possible with wall-mounted installations. The design of the tray means that in a ceiling-mounted position, it would not be able to capture the condensate.
Yes, they can. The low weight of the units ensures easy ceiling-mounted installation. Depending on your needs, you can additionally apply a confuser at the outlet (to increase the airflow range) or a 360° diffuser (to shorten the range but achieve better mixing with the surrounding air in all directions).
In the HC series, the casing is made of expanded polypropylene (EPP). It is an exceptionally lightweight and damage-resistant material. Both ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted units do not excessively load the building structure. For wall-mounted installations, we recommend using a dedicated rotating mounting bracket, which allows for convenient control of the airflow direction.
For investors looking to save costs, the HC-EC model is recommended. The electronically commutated (EC) motor used allows for stepless speed regulation in the 0–100% range, which significantly lowers power consumption compared to traditional AC motors.
No. The devices can only be supplied with water or a glycol solution. Guidelines in the technical documentation must be followed to ensure the maximum operating pressure of the heat exchanger is not exceeded. At the same time, water pressure that is too low is also not recommended, as it can negatively impact the final heating output.
HC series devices are equipped with fans featuring an IP54 protection rating. They guarantee very good resistance to dust and moisture, which is the optimal standard for most industrial spaces, workshops, and warehouses.
You should immediately check the electrical connection and ensure that the heater is connected to the mains exactly according to the provided wiring diagrams. Incorrect phase connection results in the incorrect direction of rotor rotation.
